5. Selection criteria
Make sure you have read the Application guidelines thoroughly before applying. Also, refresh your memory around what leadership is by referring to page 1 of the Information for Members guide.

6. Written reference
Please attach to your application a written reference or letter of support from a member of St John. The referee report should detail why you should be funded under the NYLF and how the referee thinks your attendance at the course/program would benefit you and St John. A Guide for referees is included in the Application pack. Please forward this to your referee as it will help give them direction.
